pulled cage back out to paint it and finish painting jeep than stage 1 is done time to gather parts for stage two (dana 300, flip kit, 4.0 and ax 15, also would like winch on front) ill post some pics when paint is done

been to hot last month to do much and no one has been wheeling much got cage primed now i need to get motivated to paint it. also if any one know where i can find 4.0l with wiring harness i am looking also ax 15 and dana 300

Found my dana 300 for $150 with free shipping on eBay. You just need to keep an eye open and jump on the deals. Also, the d300 can be flipped without a "flip kit." Plenty of write ups on this board regarding it. Motor and trans can be found on craigslist or this forum. You can also look into buying a cherokee 4.0 which will be MUCH cheaper and swap all the accessories from your motor to the cherokee.

B0mb i think i am going to try to find a wrecked cherokee for the 4.0 so i have wiring and all and some other spares that i need and i have seen some 300 on craigslist for around 150-200 just have not pulled trigger yet. Last trip of year coming up than i m looking for house so i need to save so dont no if ill swap drive train this winter yet just depends

I know I have not been doing this for that long, But is it bad already started gathering parts for a different build going to keep jeep together so i can wheel next year but i am talking about buying chassis off Jims garage and starting something new this summer.

wheeling season has arrived going next weekend no i just have to unburry the jeep from the barn and change fluids.
