Th400 Rebuild
Anyone tackle the task of tearing apart and rebuilding their own th400? I have to change the tail shafts between two th400 transmissions and I really want to give it a try. I have looked all over and maybe I am just missing it but I have yet to find a detailed sequence of steps to follow. . Any suggestions?

I rebuild a TH400 a few years ago. Only special thing needed was a very large snapring pliers. Other than that standard tools and a shop press was all that was needed.
You want to buy the ATSG manual for a TH400 - about $25 just about anywhere
