Tires...
I have a 94 YJ on 38" drag slicks- and while fun in the rain, they don't have much life left in em. I was an idiot when I first set it up, and thought "18's look good!" except they didn't have shit for tire selection then, and still don't.
Goals: 39.5-41.5 OD- nothing bigger or smaller. Don't have the fender clearance for 42's or larger and don't have the axle clearance for 38's or smaller. I'd like to keep my wheels, but am open to selling em if need be. It isn't a mall crawler, but isn't too much better and probably sees 80% of miles on pavement. Looking at Pit Bull Rocker Radials 41.5- but I'm not even sure they make these yet, and I'm also on the West coast where they seem to be impossible to find. Have heard Irok Radials suck from everyone I've seen running them- but this was another thought. MT/R's require me to buy new wheels- but I was looking there as well. Thoughts?
