Why is this? What if someone from the other 49 states wanted to win this jeep? I bet you would make a lot more in "donations" if this were the case.

Since this sweepstakes is being ran by a sweepstakes company, American Sweepstakes, we are going by the legal rules that they have written.

In order to have a sweepstakes in multiple states you must registar in those states to have a presence there, that takes up to a year to do and is very expensive.

A sweepstakes in your own state where you have a presence is not an issue, so since TDS is a California 501c7 corp. the presence is in California, hence it must only be awarded to a California Resident.

FYI Cal 4 Wheels jeep is the same way.

Thanks to everyone that came and saw us at the Ventura OffRoad Expo this weekend.

Next weekend it will be at ORW in El Cajon on Saturday and the Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center on Sunday.
