Hey everyone, starting this build thread with hopes of getting your input along the way; I have not had much luck with some other forums and basic topics or general chit chat but I know the knowledge and activity here is high.. I must just not have the cool factor on the internet haha..
So here's the run down up to this point of my 2001 Jeep TJ, 4.0 manual with 44 rear.
Picked the jeep up from a friend for $2500 knowing It had minor frame rot..
It's my second TJ, and this time around I picked it up for my dad and I to build and wheel. One of my best friends and wheeling buddy is also involved and has a good amount of knowledge from a previous 1ton XJ he built but knowledge from you guys and gals would be appreciated as well..
Started out last year , two weeks prior to going to rausch creek in PA with NAXJA which is a really cool group of people.
we did lockright lockers, 2.5" coils and shocks with 1.25" body lift. Added some minor armor with 33s and off we went.
At this point we were happy with how it was setup for the basics and it's first time out.
