who makes flexy yj springs

im about to do a spring over on my CJ (using yj springs) and was wondering what companys make good yj springs with little or no lift (ie. 2" or less). Im looking for maximum flex here so would it be any better to just go with factory yj springs or are there flexier springs out there.
thanks, jake

Find a set of used factory YJ springs, should have all the flex you want.
I've heard good things about the SOA RE springs also.

some of the re multi-rate springs (the extreme duty) would be a good choice.i think the smallest in those are 2.5 though.

might also just look into some re stock replacements

Stock YJ 5-leaf packs front & rear, with an additional main leaf in the rear. Will flex very well and can be had for considerably less $.

A word of caution on springs that are too soft...........it's called Axle Wrap. You need a slightly stiff spring on the rear, or an anti-wrap bar otherwise your rear springs are going to be worthless and have negative arch after enough hard-core wheeling trips. Just my .02 cents...

I have heard good things about Old Man Emu (OME) springs... I think they make some 1.5" YJ leaf packs for SOA.

I run stock and agree with Military Jeeper - Run some sort of anti-wrap in the back if running stock or your packs will start to bend into an S shape.

Might want to do a quick search on brewing your own packs - I think a few people have had good luck running waggy springs, or mixing stock YJ packs with the main leaf in a Chev or Ford pack to limit wrap.

RE 1.5" SOA springs work great. I have 3 friends running them and they have nothing bad to say.

I have ran 4 of the YJ RE 1.5" SOA springs for two years and loved them but needed a bigger lift. What size tire are you going to run? I have been running 35"s with these springs but had to cut the finders out a lot! These springs flex like no other. I can easily pull up on my buddys 42" tire and not pull a tire.
