Dana 20 w/2low & twin stick ???????

OK I have an odd ball Dana 20 in my CJ7. It came from the factory with 2 low. The stock shift knob did not reference it but the shift pattern goes
4H
2H
N
(2L)
4L
but between N & 4L is another spot that is 2 low. Now I've heard people say don't use it but I have and never had an issue. I'd like to twin stick it, but need to know if I'd have to take the interlock pill(which I read about thru searching) out to do the twin stick conversation? Also how many Jeep 20 twin stick kits are out there?

I have seen several that could do this.

I had one years ago that could operate in 2-low. It originally came in a late '70s CJ-7 with a factory T-18. Not sure why it was there, but I used it a lot on the trail. Never had any issues do it.

Some dana 20s with this shifter will stay in 2low better than others. Mine tended to jump out of 2 low when going down long hills.

Slop develops in the linkage allowing the shift rod controlling the rear axle to go into low range before the other shift rod has moved out of the neutral position. If you add a few AN washers at all of the linkage connection points this slop goes away and so does 2Lo.

If you get 2 low now you still well with twin sticks ,,, so all you would have to do is unbolt the stock ones and bolt these up ..

They run $119 + $15 shipping
They come with all new hardware and have stainless steel sticks

I'm not disagreeing with you guys but I bought this Jeep with 69k on the ODO and it was on 30" tires and in excellent shape. It hardly ever got wheeled and I'm the second owner and it has had this 2 low thing from the begining. So how would it get sloppy with that little use? Just asking I don't know all that much about it.

duffy it looks like an awesome set up. I'm very interested. do you have a website or an email? I'm going to be building a cage for a friend soon I should have some $ then. I'd like to know a bit more about it also.
