im at work and cant get the bolts off. I need to know what size and length the xfer case skid bolts. I need to pick up some new grade 8 ones after work and dont have time to run home and then back out before the store closes. please let me know what they are. i called the stealership and the parts guy said the didnt list a size only a p/n

Sorry, do not have access to them here either, but can you buy them at the stealership, take them to OSH or Home Depot, get 8 grade, and return the stealership ones back? How much are the stealership ones? MAybe just worth buying them?

I googled a crossmember lowering kit. According to fabtech (their 3.5" lift kit) their kit uses 1/2"-13 x 3 1/2" bolts to bolt on the crossmember spacers.

Look at the parts list, it is the only 3 1/2" long bolt supplied.
Look at step 16.

In the pic they look like 1" or longer spacers. So I would assume 2 1/2" bolts would work. Or you can call fabtech and find out how big the spacers are.

I have one at my desk out of my 98 wrangler and the threaded shank before the cone washer is 1.25" long and the head with the cone washer and head measure .778" total length is 2". and it is .5" x 13 thread.
