Can I get 35's on these rims w/ these axles?

Here is my set up:
78 CJ7
AMC 20 and Dana 30 Widetrack w/ 4.10 ratio
MORE Reversal
4" BDS springs (YJ front springs)
1" Body lift
1/2" shackle lift
Stock 258 w/ 3 speed 999 auto tranny

I have a set of rims that are 15" x 10" w/ 3 1/2" back spacing.

With those rims and the rest of my set up can I get 35 x 12.50 tires on with good performance and clearance?

Thanks,
Jeff

they should as long as you don't try extreme wheeling. The tires will rub alittle when flexed out but you can install bump stops for that.

Great Thanks!! I found a deal for four 35 x 12.50 R15LT General Grabber AP All Terrains for $150. They have about 80% tread left. Was hoping they would get me started with a decent set of tires for cheap. Once they wear then I will look into something else.

Thanks,
Jeff

You'd be better off with 15x8's. They'll hold the bead with 12.50's much better than your 15x10's. You could try to find a cheap set of 15x8's in the 'for sale' forum or better yet, locally for sale (no shipping). You could always sell or trade your 15x10's. I don't think you'll have any issues with your setup as far as fitting the tires, but that D30 will go boom sooner or later. Mine blew all to hell in my CJ with 35's. Start saving money for an axle upgrade (D44 will be fine for 35's). If you're planning on keeping the M20 rear, put one piece axles in it.
