4.3 in jeep

Okay here we go. I have a 4.3 with th350. This is trying to make its way into a 87yj. The yj hs 6 with the ba-10 and 207. I want to know if i use this kit that puts a tail shaft in the th350 to match the 207 will i have a problem bolting the 350 to 207? So it is a chevy 350 to jeep np 207 now we know that the 207 was in s-10 and blazers so will i need to do anything then change out the tailshaft in the th350? The advance adapters and the noviak both claim with their motor mounts that it will move the engine foward upto 3 inches is this true? wiring not a problem. so the main problem is the tranny to transfer case.

Check the jeep faq for the chevy swap info. Most of its there. After that head to the yota forum and dig around there. TONS of 4.3 swap info over there.

I would look into the strength of that NP207 a bit more. From what I have read at some sites...either Advance or Novak, can't remember...the NP207 is not considered as strong as the NP231 and is happier behind 4cyl type power. 21 spline too, yes?

Maybe just use a Chev np231, but I don't know much about them. I will go away now as I have traveled beyond the point of usefulness.
