Waggy Springs: JCWhitney vs. De-leafed 44044
I have one set of each of these springs on the garage floor. New 44044's (6 leaf, 2" lift) and practically new stock-type Waggy springs (7 leaf).
At minimum, I'm replacing my current rear springs (1.5" lift Raunchos) with one of these sets. Jeep is 87 Yj, SOA with 36" IROC's. Would you: a) slap on the stock-type replacements and call it good (should be ~same height as front which would still have the 1.5" raunchos). b) remove a leaf (looks like 3rd from bottom is best?) from the 44044's and install those c) remove the leaf from the 44044's and install all four springs (do front and rear). It should ride "mostly even"! Thanks! |
