TJ to YJ Seat Swap

After 16 years I've finally managed to break both of the front seats in my 90 YJ. I've gotten a real good deal on some new TJ seats. Anybody know what kind of modifications or a tech article on how to swap these seats out?

two different mounting brackets, also the rear access for the tj seat is in the seat, on the shoulder bolster. If you can turn around and sell those TJ seats, fox body mustang seats are a almost complete bolt in swap for a YJ.

thats a good bit of info. You can get the TJs in but you will have to weld the floor to match exactly. Kind of a lot of work. I would use the sliders on build little angle iron brakets to use the YJ flips with the TJ sliders. should be a couple cuts and a couple of holes drilled.

That's the information I'm looking for.

Can you mod the YJ sliders/flips to work with the TJ seats?

Or do you have to mod the TJ sliders to work with the YJ flips?

Another question. Will ANY Mustang Fox platform seats work? Such as those from say mid to late '90's?

I know the Fox platform was used until '04 but I'm curious if the risers and bolt hole locations are the same/similar.
