2003 WJ. want to install lift
hey guys, i'm just getting into the 4X4 world. i just picked up an 03 wj laredo. i was previously a mustang guy and did a bunch of stuff to it, but i never really touched the suspension. now that i have a truck that's the first thing i'm going to touch. i've done some research and am positive that i want IRO's 4 inch lift for my wj. the only question is, do you think a complete noob to suspension would be able to do this? i have jack stands and probably all the necessary tools in my garage, minus a spring compressor. are instructions generally good enough for me to be able to do it on my own? or would it be most wise to just have a shop do it? thanks,

If were you i would just do it myself becuase it really helps in understanding whats goin on down there and if u need to perform a quick trail fix or somthin you will know what to do. you just want to make sure that you do have all the tools that you need and that your jack stands are gunna be high enough to lift the vehicle off its axles.but afterwards i would take it to a shop to be aligned.

If its all bolt in, then yes a complete newb can do it. You can rent a spring compressor at Autozone if you really need it.
