Clocking Dana 300 question.

I'm looking to clock the dana 300 in my CJ. I purchased a clocking ring several years ago, still sitting on the shelf.

Clocking ring will be going between a TF999 and a Dana 300

I haven't been able to get a clear answer in regards to the following-
Question is: Do I need the speedy sleeve spacer or not?

Thanks

John
