nop28 vs dana 300

i have both at my disposal, which case is stronger?
np208 or dana 300?
82 cj5
tbi 350
th400
dana 60 ff rear
corp 10 bolt front

NP208 is chain drive for the front yoke. Dana 300 is complete gear drive.

Without a doublt, if you have both, use the Dana 300. Only bad thing I've heard about it is a slightly weak tall shaft, but that can easily be upgraded.

Don't know enough about the NP208, but I'm learning quick.

Do you already have the adapter for the TH400 to D300?

The 208 will bolt up to the 400 with factory parts.

The D300 will have a slightly lower low range though

and the D300 has the option of converting to twin sticks

i have complete running gear out of a 87 suburban, trans, engine, tcase, all together already, but i am thinking the d300 would be better for me...
