98 cherokee tire size 3" lift

Well its time for new tires. 3" lift on a 1998 cherokee. What tire size other than stock can I run w/o problems. Will a 31" tire fit? Thanks for the replies Slider

31" should fit, you have the newer body style so your wheel wells are a weebit smaller. You running stock offset? Stock offset I wouldn't expect rubbing

31's will fit. minor trimming/bumpstops will help with off-road rubbing on road you should have no problems.

and the obligatory:
trim the hell out of it, slap some tj flares on all around and get 33's on there.

I run 31-10.50R15's on my wife's '98 XJ with a 3" lift and there is little to no rubbing. Sway bars are still connected so I expect some minor rubbing offroad when I get disco's installed.
Stock backspacing rims will rub with these tires.
