Ahhh.... Don't know what I was thinking about.... I ran a M-8000 as pictured above (feet forward) for a few years and seemed to be fine. Seems like any non-integrated can be run that way, although I think this has been covered before.
Dont mean to hi-jack but: What is the Ford in the background with the scoop? Is it functional? |

in aus high mounts are just the warn M8274 winches. the winch on the jeep is a M-10,000. I dont think warn makes them anymore
The ford in the background is what we call a soft roader here in aus. it's just an awd, (no transfer case) its' designed and manufactured here in aus and it's called a Ford Territory. That model is a turbo petrol (gasoline in the US) it goes hard on road but it's little tires made it suck big time in the sand. It's your typical 4wd that never gets used, or really was intended to get used. Wasn't happy when the wife wanted pink seat covers for it. She actually wanted the bar to be powder coated pink too. but i put my foot down on that one. Last edited by YankeeDave; 01-29-2007 at 11:09 PM. |
