I'm lost, do I grease the bearing or let the gear lube due the work? Will the torque read differently?

Front or rear? Front- grease it. rear full floating it will oil itself.

If your looking for tech documentation that details the lubrication systems on Dana 60 axles I would think that only a Dana Service manual would cover that.
