Ford 302 to a NV3500

I read most of the FAQs on swapping a 5.0. in my '87 Wranler, but most seem deal EFI and none mentioned mating up to a NV3500. After my AX-15 went out on me I decided to upgrade to the NV3500. Now that my tired 4.2 needs to be replaced I thought about dropping in one of the 302's I got laying around the garage.

Would the 302 mate to the NV3500, or will I need an adaptor, and for that matter does anyone make one?

Any info is appreciated!

GR

You'll need an adaptor. Check advanced adapters

I have one sitting in my garage right now (from Advance), but the Jeep version of the tranny is a NV3550, I believe. The 3500 was a Chev thing IIRC.
