What axle do you have? Early D30's (CJ's) had "C's" that accepted D44 knuckles and hubs, allowing 6-lug Jeep outers and locking hubs. The later model D30 is a much different axle. It's very expensive to convert these axles to lock-out hubs and the 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern; don't believe you can convert them to 6-lug, though.

change to 6 bolt premium lochout hubs
I want to change from warn 5 bolt standerd lockouts to the premium 6 bolt version.

Yes it is worth it, the stock 5 bolt hubs on a CJ D30 are plastic and break really easy.
Like I said before. Either buy the WARN conversion kit or find yourself a set of hubs from roughly a 79' CJ-7 that had the 6 bolt hubs and then buy a set of WARN premium hubs to bolt them too. All the spindles/hubs are the same just bolt and go. Period.
