Rim size step
At what width tire should you go from an 8 inch rim to a 10 inch rim. I'm going up from 36 x 12.5 x 15 swamper TSL's to 37 x 14 x 15 Irocs. I've got 8" rims now. Just wondering if I should go up to 10's or just mount 'em up and go as is.

I run 36 13.5 irok's with 8" rims with out issue. They are a bit balloonish because of it, but I don't care and I don't have bead locks.
I would run them on the 8" rims, but that is just me. |

13.5 May be getting to the point where you may want to switch, but as 95steel stated, it will still work. On the Plus side. The more it balloons out, the more the tire will protect your wheels from damage.

Some sort of beadlock will eventually be the rim of choice. Just need something to get me by for a while longer while the funds build up again. Thanks for the input on this guys.

if you want to do it right get 10" wide rims. The 8" are to narrow for the tires. Your 8" rims are'nt offset enough for most jeeps (yes, even TJ's) and the 10" will give you an 1" more offset.
