got D60, now what?
couldn't pass up a rear D60 8 lug out of 1990 D250 dodge for $40, What next? What are the first steps to rebuild it? want to rebuild w/ ARB,4.88, 35 spline cro mo and rear disc for $1000-$1200 max (and 6 months time frame) Is it possible and is it worth it? 99tj 4.0 w/6" Long Arm and 33's pretty much stock now just want to rebuild one axle at a time then install both in 12 months.Future plans of front D60 locked w/ 35 spline and 37" iroks(within year), and 350 t400later. have had jeep for 3 years w/ no gears/lockers so want to tackle axles first. want them to look fresh and clean . sorry so long winded. thanks in advance

I have a 35 spline moser shaft for a rear Dodge Dana 60 you could get to pretty cheap if you are interested.
Tear it apart and start cleaning. :-p

Good luck with that! Maybe you have good contacts but unless you can find some deals on used stuff you better be ready to pony up a few more greenbacks.
