Here is what I have. How do I wire up the alternator? It is out of a 1989 Chevy 3/4 ton.

Looks like a standard CS alternator, large connection to the battery plus and the small plug, marked I/F to a hot wire that goes hot with the ignition in the run position (key on). http://www.alternatorparts.com/cs130_sbpage1.htm
Some models have another connection in the back for an idiot light.

I have the 88 service manual and the 92 fuel and emissions service manual, there may be some helpful wiring diagrams in there if you have questions about the harnesses.
