cj spring mod

doing a soa on my 1980 cj-5 with stock axles getting ready to bolt everything up for good and was wondering if I take one or two of the small springs out of the pack i will get better flex and maybe lower the c.o.g. running 35 inch tires and eventually beefing up the axles when they break also prob getting stock yjs or alcan springs eventually but i would rather spend the money on stuff like dana 60s and a 350sbc - sm465 4-1dana300. thanks for any help

Going SOA puts increased stress on the springs. Taking out a spring will only accelerate wear. I wouldn't do it with stock springs, especially without anti-wrap bars.
