what running gear and transfer case should I go with?

Ok I just bought a 91 yj with the intention of building it up. It has spring over 2" body and 36s. Im running on stock running gear and on my first ride I broke the rear yoke and the transfercase. My question is what runing gear should I step up too? and what transfer case should i go with? Im not looking for the baddest stuff out there, but I would like to be able to play hard with my 36s. What do you guys recommend?

you could just up grade your axles.

it all depends on how hard you wheel, if you plan on going with bigger tires, if you want more power.....ect, ect.
