Corbeau Seats.. Need your opinions.

Ok, I am getting ready to order me some Corbeau seats ( The Baja SS).
I have a couple of questions for those of you who have these seats or any after market seat. That are equal..

1. Whats your opinion of them ?

2. Should I go with all vinyl or vinyl and cloth ?
How easy are they to clean ? My stock seats are easy, and I never have to worry about the getting wet and staying wet for a period of time because I can just wipe them out.

3. If they get wet, is it gonna ruin them ?

I think the Vinyl would be a cooler seat in the summer time, but I am just concerned about them getting wet I guess.

I just want to make the right choice, it a lot of money for something you cannot send back once you buy them and then go wheelin with them and decided your not happy with them..

So who better to ask then those of you who have or have them.

So whats your thoughts and opinions..

Thanks for your help.

i have the baja ss with black all vinyl, here are my opinions.
-1 1/2 years of use in a dd and little to slight wear
-very very comfortable
-would be a tight fit for someone with a bigger pant size than I (i'm 6'2" 190 lbs)
-they do fine with water in them, just mop it up, they don't midew
-the do wear more at the edges of the piping where you slide in and out
-my only complaint is they don't breathe very well so my back and butt get sweaty during the summer.

I have the cloth.vinyl combo. all black

Very comfy, but I feel after a few months of DDing on them, the padding has lost some of its fluff, not that bad. VERY VERY comfy, did i mention they are comfy? I would get them again in a heartbeat. I just use a vacuum to clean the cloth

I would recommend going with the Baja Ultra SS, they are wider and taller, more comfortable than the Baja SS IMO. I sat in the regular baja before I bough mine, very happy I went with the Ultras. They are all cloth on the inside where you sit and vinyl on the ouside of the seat. Vinyl is NOT cooler in the summer, espcially black. I had all vinyl stock seats and it would get extremely hot during the summer time. The Vinyl will also make your back and ass sweat like crazy as well, once that happens you start to stick to the neat not very comfy. Go with cloth.

ive got the "regular" ones with the shorter back and i like them fine, i got the all vinyl for ease of keeping them clean.
if i were you, id probably just go ahead and buy some, espessially after every response so far has been positive.

Yeah, good responses, but I am still up in the air about vinyl or cloth.

How well do the cloth come clean. My top is off of my rig most of the time, and its really dusty, then if it rains, it seems that it would be a mess, and you would have to sit in a puddle of water, either that or the foam would just soak it up like a sponge..

This will be a Birthday present from my wife to me, so I have until Jan. to make up my mind.. It seems that the vinyl would clean up easier, but will be very hot... My stock seats are vinyl, and they clean up nice, and they are not to hot, but I am leaning towards black, and I know how hot that gets..

Well, keep the feedback coming if ya got anymore..

Thanks for your help.
