CJ5 Suspension
I have a '67 CJ-5 with a 3" lift and 33" pitbulls. It has a 225 v-6 in it and is pretty stripped down, so doesn't weigh a ton. Anyway, my shocks are shot and I need new shocks. Anyone offer up your ideas on some good shocks to buy for a light rig like this. I know gas monotubes like RE or Bilsteins are considered very good, but will they be too stiff? Should I run something like a Skyjacker Hydro or ProComp ES3000 hydro instead? I just want something that will be as soft as possible while still keeping the suspension feeling good and keep it from cycling (bouncing) a ton when going over bumps, basically a shock to offer good control. Don't really wanna spend the money on super spendy stuff (for my budget) like fox's and such. I know its kind of a lame, easy question, but thanks for the help guys.

I'd get the Bilstein 5150's with the 170/60 valving. They come in various lengths.
