I have a factory exaust manifold off a 98 Cherokee. It is a tube header unlike the restritive cast manifold on my 2000 Tj. Has anyone done this swap. Have you noticed a difrence. It looks to be as good as some of the aftermarket Headers.
I know on my 99 tj the factory header is poor excuse for a header. WHEN I REMOVED MINE IT HAD 7 CRACKS IN IT. I installed a banks system and have been very happy with it.
Your 2000 TJ has the best exhaust manifold produced to date. I've been installing them on pre 2000 4.0 engines, they don't crack. All aftermarket exhaust manifolds for the 4.0L crack...IMO
