Want to run dual batteries in my 06 Rubicon... Not a whole lot of room under the hood for two batteries... Looked at all the different mount options. Is there an opinion on re-locating the batteries to the back cargo area of my Jeep? Thanks for the opinions...
These are pretty neat batteries, put a few in my friend's bikes, and they LOVE them. Couple of guys I know have used two of the smaller automotive rated ones in a standard battery tray.
You can use the mean green dual battery tray. It lets you put two optimas in the stock location.
You don't have to change anything other then drilling a hole for the temp sensor. The airconditioning lines get a little close but everything still fits in there.
The Mean green is the one that I would install if I were to do dual batteries today.
