Clocking Ring question

I'm back, and I finally bought my red star.

I got the flat-tops machined and tapped, the high steer arms bolted on, swapped in new Spicer Ball Joints, and have begun to reassemble the axles. Pictures to come soon.

My SYE from AA arrived, and we are going to drop the transfer case out and install it next week, What I want to know is if I should go ahead and clock the case up when it is off anyway. If so, who makes/sells a good clocking ring, and how hard is it to do.

Thanks in advance.

I bought my ring from AA, im sure Novak has one. I know vendors on this site also make thinner ones as well. Your determining factor should be how thick or thin you need it and then decide from there. Ive seen 1/4", 5/8" and 3/4" thick clocking rings. You can clock it while its outside the vehicle, you will probably change it though, i mocked mine up 3 times before i found the rotation i was happy with :D
