cheapo front TJ brakelines

I dont wanna drop $100 on a set of fancy braided stainless extended brake lines.

call me cheap. thats fine, I can take it

ive seen a handful of posts on a handful of boards recomending various brakelines from various models...

the most promising seem to be leads towards mid 90s GM 3/4 ton trucks. Looking on Napa's site, I see a slew of different part numbers depending on 2wd vs 4wd, cab configuration etc etc...

any one got a specific part number they recomend?

A long time ago and in a galaxy far far away, I took some front brake lines from a 77 CJ-7 with drum front brakes and screwed them into the frame end of the stock brake line, but this was on a CJ, and the TJ may be metric. But you could go to Auto Zone and look at the TJ line and the CJ drum brake line to see if it will work.

Hey found this on Napa's website, It looks like it might just work. There almost 25 inches long compared to 18 inch TJ Line.

What the hell would you want 34" lines for. They'd be draggin on the ground. LOL. I just used the 1/2 ton chevs and moved the hard line to the inside of frame. Here's a little flex with lotsa room to go.

Good point, What steering setup are you running? Tie rod and so on.
