adapt it usa makes a set of adapters. i was in your same boat. with that pair of axles, and getting the lug pattern to match. the way i saw it
convert the waggy 44 to 5X5.5. which would be about 200 in parts, and then still need some adapters to make the 8.8 5X4.5 to 5X5.5, which was another 100. or buy the adaptitusa adapters for 200. it saved me 100 bucks, and was a lot easier the converting the waggy 44 to 5 lug, and either way youll need new wheels |

Just get new alloy axles in the bolt pattern you want, It's not like they cost eleventy billion dollars. Then you'd have matching fronts and rears and no fuckin adaptors.

If you get shafts I would like to know who you have build them. I would like to buy a set as well. I have no Idea how much it would cost.
I just did the same swap and I have the 2 piece wheel adapters. I don't trust them with 37 inch tires. I think switching the front over to 5 lug might cost as much as a set of custom shafts, especially if you have to get new rims. |
