Grand Cherokee axle help!
I know im a newbe but i need help to. I just bought a 93 Grand Cherokee with the 5.2, both front and rear axle gears are torn out. Anyone know which axles from other jeeps will work or is it a v8 grand only deal?

youre gonna need gears designed for the specific axles you have. Could be D35c in the rear (which is garbage) or could be a D44A which isnt much better from a rock crawling standpoint. id buy replacement axles before dumping any money into new gears for them. Go pull a Ford 8.8 from the junk yard with a LS and 4.10 gears for 250ish and yank a waggy 44 front and regear it. add wheel adapters to match up the lug patterns and throw on some 35's.

4.10 8.8 lsd
If you live near Cincinnati, I have one of these that will be for sale soon. It's geared 4.10 and has a brand new set of carbon-fiber clutch discs.
