rear locker

hey guys i got a 86 jeep cherokee and the stock rear end in it and im thinking about welding the spiders in the rear. anyone done this before, im a pretty mellow wheeler and im runnin 30" tires.

If you plan on driving it on the street you're going to hate that welded rear.

ya my buddy has one in his toyota and he drives it daily. im just gonna do it for this weekend wheelin trip then im going to get another carrier and put that in after this weekend.

Holy shit, I finally agree with Gary on something.

Mine is welded, has been for several years. The tire chirp and hopping up and down when turning gets old after a while. I'm planning on throwing an Aussie in the rear of mine soon. I have an Aussie in the front already and love it.
