80% are not that is why theirs rides like shit. It seems a cheap way to go but it will cost you more than a quality lift kit in the end.

I never went SOA. I always kept my rig SUA with 4" Skyjacker leafs. 1" body lift, and a belly up skid. I ran 36" Irok's for the longest time. i just recently went up to 39.5"s TSL's, but I am linked up front now and still SUA in the rear.
When I was SUA all around it handled fine on the road. I even took the sway bar out and track bars front and rear.

Steering issues need to be addressed when running SOA. Why do you want SOA?

My last YJ was SOA, all done right, I have the pics to prove it. D44s, BTF hi-steer arms, 1-ton steering, all proper geometry. And while it would do highway speeds on its own if I ever had to make an evasive manuever It would probably veer out of control quite quickly. The suspensions if done right are just too soft, same thing with 4-linked coil rigs. I had a deer jump out infront of me one day and I had to slam on the brakes (upgraded discs and MC btw so it could lock up my 37s) and naturally having such a soft suspension the front end dove and was all over the place almost to the point where I had to fight to keep it inbetween the lines.
You don't want SOA for a daily driven rig. They can drive fine on the street, they get a little scary when the SHTF, and SOA isn't cheap to do right. Plus if you are running a 35" or smaller tire then theres no reason to be going SOA in the first place. Ive even seen guys on here running 37 and 40" MTRs with only 2" of lift.
