cj7 with 92 4.0 conv. NO SPARK! HELP! - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

Hey guys I need help with a problem. I just bought a 84 cj7 that has a 4.0 from a 92 wrangler. I purchased it knowing there the motor was not getting spark. For the last three days I have been chasing wires, checking grounds, and testing sensors. I think I'm stumped. My ECM is good I pluged it into my friends 92 and it starts and runs. Coil is good. Pick up coil is new, Crank pos sensor is new with the advanced adapter relocation kit. She cranks over but no sparky. New cap and rotor too, and rotor spins so dist gear good. My next idea might be low fuel pressure. Does anyone know if low fuel press will cut power to ingnition? PLEASE HELP

post this over on cjoffroad.com in their 4.0 swap forum. there are some guys over there that know alot about problems from the swap etc.

It's not fuel pressure! I know it has to be something stupid i'm missing. This is what I get for taking on someone elses handy work
