I was wanting to build some long arms and want to know if I could keep the uppers in the same location and just have the lowers as long arms or should I also relocate them as well.

just do a radius arm set up with one upper, do a search for them.

I was thinkin about radius arms, but I was trying to see if this would work because to me it's simpler and wanted to see if it was worth it.

From what I have read on the type of long arm setup that you are asking about, you will have a huge change in pinion angle as the suspension cycles.

I was also thinking that but wasnt sure so I'm glad I asked, after looking for different long arms would be my best bet the Clayton long arm upgrade, the rubicon express long arms or treks offroad y-link.
