Soccer Mom to Weekend Wheeler XJ
After much searching and agony, I finally found the perfect Jeep for me. This 1999 Cherokee Limited. Fully loaded, all the goodies including leather interior. It has 140,xxx miles, but runs very strong. There are few minor things that are less than perfect, (cracked windshield, a couple rust spots, blown front speakers, permantly "on" window lock) but lets face it, for 4 Grand, this is a pretty sweet ride.
Next week comes a 3 1/2" Rubicon Lift, wheels, 31" tires, front/rear bumpers, roof rack, stereo if i have time. And one more thing..... ![]() there's gotta be something else....![]() what am I forgetting?Oh yeah, some VisionX Lights

Went and got new Radiator hoses, coolant and a few other little things to fix. When I went to install the new hoses, I noticed a little "Rusty Water" leaking below the tranny coolant line. Well, a few hundred $$ later and a new radiator....
![]() ![]() Oh well, at least it will run cooler and not blow up on me at KOH. Stay tuned, going in Thursday for Lift and Wheels.

Some more updates. I first added VisionX 5x7 (VX-575 $65pr.)Sealed Beam Headlight replacement lenses. These have a multi surface reflector for maximum efficiency. Then added VisionX high watt H4 bulbs (VX-HH4 $31.99pr). Very simple swap for under $100, and way more light than old sealed beams. Then I bought a set of Clear turn signals and corner lights off ebay for about $40 for an updated look. I did have to buy amber 1156 running lights since the stock amber lenses run clear bulbs. Wanna stay away from the PO-PO.

Well, it really depends on what size you get. They start at $119 for the small 2" single, then go up from there all the way to $1900 for the 52". The great thing about these LED bars is they have low power draw, light is instantly on, no waiting for HID to warm up and you can scale to the size you are trying to fit. This 22" bar is equivelant to about 3-HID's in output, but in a much smaller package. The 12" bar is around $500, 9" under $400. Anything smaller, you would need to add in pairs. click on my link to see all the variations, look for "Reflex" on the home page.
