ok does any one have a after market upper control arm for a xj . if you do can u tell me how long is it from end to end . i have a 5.5 lift on my xj and my upper control arms r shock so they are to short . i have after market lower arms and my axle is push out on the bottom . so i need to make some news one for the top . but i don't now how long they should be .
Just take off your upper arms, and position the axle
exactly where you want it. Put a jack under the pinion
and rotate the axle around, making sure you don't put the Castor
into the negative. Don't tip the pinion up too far!
Once you have the axle where you want it exactly...
Just measure the mounting bolt holes for the upper arms
and build them to that length.
That's why they make tape measures.
Amazing what you can do with things?
