yj stretch ?
i am looking to stretch my yj 2" will probably use the 44044 springs. it is an 89 yj soa with a waggy 44 front and a 9" rear. i was wondering if any one had done this stretch with just using tj flares or if i would have to take some more body out. O and i am running 36" tsl's.

the center pin on the 44044 have a 2 inch offset. So go for it, you can gain 2 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear. On the front I was running a d44 with high steer arms and a M.O.R.E. steering box mount, shackle reversal and it worked fine. Being that I was running 38.5 tsl sx, I had to add hydro assist, another easy modification. You may have to trim you rear wheel openings.

There are, but not as many as you might expect, especially on 44044's. It's just too tall. Look up the 'SOA second thoughts' thread on here. If you're dead set on SOA, use stock height springs. Your axles won't live up to any tire size that would necessitate anything more.
EDIT: I meant to add that you can drill a new offset center pin in stock height springs and accomplish the same thing as waggys, but with less lift.
