I'm about to start a 4 link on the rear of my '7. I have my links figured out, but I can decide where to mount coils.

I'm shooting for 4-6" of stretch, so my problem is, there isnt enough usable space, to mount a decent coil spring between the frame, and axle. the way i see it, my options are outboard the springs, and have shitty flex. Inboard the springs, and have a very unstable ride. or custom "back half" frame. I would prefer to stick to conventional springs and shocks.

BTW, its a full width D60.

any insight? possibly pictures of your set up?
