Question Help With a Terra low converted NP 231

I installed a Terra low gear front half-case into my NP 231 Transfer case a while back during my build. I thought I shifted it through all the gears before I installed it to ensure it was working correctly, but it was a few months back...

Took the Jeep out for a shake down run, no major binding, just some clearance work on the gas tank skid, but the transfer case will only shift into 4-H & 2-H

Any ideas on what may be installed incorrectly? I am going to drop the case again tomorrow & pull it apart, but I am pretty sure that everything looked good the first time around, or I would not have re-assembled it.

Any one have a similar issue????

Thanks in advance for any assistance, Had no idea what I was doing when I started this build, but I learned a lot and could easily do another one now

Shift mode ring is likely on backwards, especially if you don't have neutral.

thats a lot of money that was spent on a 231, could have flipped a dana 300 for that price but thats besides the point. checking your cables, does sound like a shift ring error.
