i have a jeep commando.. Where can i get parts???????

i just got a jeep commando and i wanna know what my jeep has like what kind of diffs. and where i can get body lift for my jeep.

it depends on what year my 67 had a dana 30 rear dana 27 front and dana 20 transfer case. newer models had dana 44 rear and dana 30 fronts.

What are your plans for the vehicle? If you do go with a body lift keep it very small as taller body lifts aren't good. I used some urethane body mounts that were made by energy suspension that are about 3/4" taller than the stock body mounts to lift the body a small amount.

If you have the dana 30 rear it is very weak and you should definetely upgrade if you do much off road at all. The 67 will also have the Ross steering which is typically sloppy and a Saginaw steering box upgrade would be recommended.

The rear fender openings are small and if you want to go to bigger tires you might want to think about cutting them to allow you to not have to lift as much. Rockers also hang down and can benefit from being trimmed.

Parts? Ha Ha

Parts stores? LOL Hell no! There are a few guys out there with NOS parts and some used but for the most part, fab it yourself!
