What are your plans for the vehicle? If you do go with a body lift keep it very small as taller body lifts aren't good. I used some urethane body mounts that were made by energy suspension that are about 3/4" taller than the stock body mounts to lift the body a small amount.
If you have the dana 30 rear it is very weak and you should definetely upgrade if you do much off road at all. The 67 will also have the Ross steering which is typically sloppy and a Saginaw steering box upgrade would be recommended. The rear fender openings are small and if you want to go to bigger tires you might want to think about cutting them to allow you to not have to lift as much. Rockers also hang down and can benefit from being trimmed. |
