Thoughts on this muffler?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-17651/

This muffler fits the size requirement and price requirement I need. It will be behind the skid plate so toughness not an issue.

I want it to be quiet!!!!! Anyone run one of these? 4.0l engine

It is a welded muffler, it will not be quiet. It's a Flowmaster 40 copy, really. And it's not that great quality, either.

It's a chambered construction, no packing. Only steel baffles. LOUD.

Magnaflow. I have one on a 4.2 with 4.0 head and it isn't that loud. Doesn't even sound that bad on the I6. Flowmasters sound like shit.

Dynomax super turbo, they are nice and quiet, flow good, and are reasonably priced. I have one on my YJ and it's good.

The Thrush in the original post is a Chinese Flowmaster copy.

I bought one 3-4 years ago, and the tubing size was way off.
It was supposed to be 2.5"ID, I'd say it was 2 5/8" ID, or more.

cliff notes:
It's loud like a first gen FM, it's cheap, made in China, and sometimes they screw up the tubing sizes.

I have a Hushflow or whatever its called on my YJ 4.0. Has just enough sound to know the motor is running right but not so loud you can't hear the radio turned down at an idle. At highway speeds the tire noise completely covers any exhaust noise what so ever. Hope this helps I'm not one for loud exhaust personally.
