I have a Stack Replace a Case and I need to mount it to my Ax-15. The transfer case front output will be driver side if that matters. Will the clocking ring work from Novak? I ordered the flip version and it does not work.
Just got off the phone with them, they said it should bolt right up to the AX-15. But if I do need a clocking ring, to get one from Novak. They were not too specific, but I have been using this thread for research.
I was under the impression that the output shaft of an AX-15 is about 7/8" longer than that of a CJ transmission, so my aplication would require a ring.
I believe you'll just need the standard clocking ring. I ordered the extra clocking ring for my 46RE from Stak. I would give them a call, they'll let you know, mine was real cheap.
My replace a case had 4 mounting options built in. My novak adaper aso had 4 mounting options.
I doubt you will need a clocking ring
