Hi, I can not figure out how to remove the axle shafts. I have removed everthing and still can not get it out. I know some shafts have c clips, but I do not know where, or how, you would get to one on this axle. This is a 1995 Dana 44 out of an isuzu.

Anyone that knows how to remove the shafts please reply.

Thx, here are a few pictures.

remove bolts that are on outer ends of axle - put disk brake rotor on backwards with 2 or 3 lug nuts, leave loose and use rotor as a puller- 3 or 4 hits and they should come right out- may need a pry bar to get bearing races out- u can hook the head of a big bolt behind edge of race- use vice grips on bolt and drive out with a BFH (big fucking hammer) Done 100s of axles this way.
