I have the factory service manuals for the 1990 XJ,YJ,SJ etc. and the damn things don' have the 4.0's flywheel/drive plate to crank nor drive plate to converter torque specs (they have the 2.5 and 5.9 values). I also have the Chiltons and the Haynes which also don't have these values.
Does anyone know for certain what the drive plate to TC bolt torque spec is (preferably from a later version of the FSM which may have added these torque values) ?
There seems to be a lot of confusion everywhere I search...could be 22 ft-lb could be 40...
Thanks !
