Anybody have any good pictures of what they did to relocate everything after ditching the fenders on a TJ. I'm attempting to search but have a pretty slow connection.
IMHO it's a poor idea. The grille is held in place by the fenders. Sure the latch helps as well as the 2 thin bars and the bolt thru the bottom but it doesn't tie it in like the 4 bolts (off memory) that tie into the grille (on each side). On top of that think of all the stuff that sits on the fenders from batt. to windshield washer fluid. Sure...You can hack stuff but why? I guess I never understood this one? If you like that look cut your fenders off but leave the hood latch part and the inner fender so you do not have to relocate all that stuff. Just my 2 cents.
Grill is tied to hood hoop so it is mounted solid, battery has been moved to inside of cab. This is on a streched linked TJ that is going to be running 40's stock fenders are in the way of up travel.
