They are heavy, have to be welded, no centering ring, your rim becomes wider, some offset wheels are very hard to mountnthe tire and you have instead of inserts.
I have ran DIY beadlocks with no problems. For the money they are hard to beat and you can pick any design you like. Give diybeadlocks.com on here a ring. He will take care of you.

I agree with all of this ^^. Do not mount beadlocks on a reversed rim, this may be the "some offset wheels are very hard to mount the tire" he is speaking of.
Travis..
I am going to be running standard waggy wheels with 3.5 back spacing and am leanong towards longfields cause they have anticoning ring and sit inside the lip not on it
I know this reply is late compared to the last reply but do give diybeadlocks.com a call. If you're concerned about the anti-coning ring.... he sales that also for cheap. Don't forget, just about any style you want he can do for the design! I won't quote prices on here but I can say no one else can beat it!
Mine are the gernades with batwing beads should be powder coared and show up on my door anyday now. I will be writing them up in my hp44 swap and updating my reviews.
