I have a 2002 Jeep wrangler that I removed the factory dash and column. I would like to make the turn signals, brake switch, head lights, and wipers work again by putting switches on my new dash. Does anyone know a good place to start with wiring diagrams or someone that has done it before?
This is excellent advice and something I've bought for every vehicle I own.
In fact I used mine to get my head lights, brake lights, interior lights and horn working after removing the stuff around my steering column. :flipoff2: Did you remove all the wiring or are the harnesses still there? I left my wiring harnesses and jumped the necessary pins in order to get the stuff I wanted back to working order. Granted I didnt pull my entire dash.
I'd look at getting the FSM. You are going to need it to figure out what to jumper, where to tap, etc.
Do some searching through google and you mind find something online. alldata.com might be useful also but I'd be tracking down an FSM if it were me.
